Forming the structure of our house of knowledge, the principle gives us understanding of how spiritual blindness allows each moral/ethical standard to make itself out to be superior over the others regardless of which ones are. For Word places the principle above all standards to keep us humble. We need knowledge of how this works through the word-symbol evil in the duality name.
The Duality Name
Unknowingly giving Name our agapé light while blindly forming evil in our perception is summed up in Word saying, “I know your deeds, [ones that indicate] you have a name [declaring] that you are alive and you are dead.” With knowledge of the duality name, we understand how the beautiful story of Name’s agapé light is turned into a life of addiction in the flesh and spirit.
The conflict of political visions in spiritual civil war works through the spiritual life and death of the duality name. It uses the inner appearances of beliefs and moral/ethical standards to form generalizations of the outer-appearance differences of gender, national, ethnic, political and worldview surfaces. Generalizations — like all men, all women, all rich people, all Hispanics, all Whites and so forth, do so and so — form illusory boundaries in our singularity.
And since we are names of light, we collectively take form as the duality name of blind light in our national conscience (suneidesis),1 which manifests as the conflict of visions between us. From its spiritual death we act upon generalizations, while from its limited spiritual life we deny that we believe such things, both due to the word-symbol evil working in our perception. The full principle with agapé stronger than death cuts through all this.
The principle does this with the light of Word’s agapé, “for the Word of God [Name (is)] living, [eternally] energetic and sharper than any two-edged sword [the dual nature of the duality name], permeating [all appearances] as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to judge [according to the principle of agapé] the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
Time in the Duality Name
The collective awareness of our national suneidesis includes the awareness of time in our singularity. Choices made under this awareness determine the degree to which our perception of time is dependent on us. In spiritual civil war, our collective misuse of appearances in the duality name directly subjects our perception of time or change to the word-symbol evil.
In simple awareness of time, this causes us to experience it two ways. When misusing the symbol, we feel guilty, though not always recognized as such, and our perception of time slows down, every second a pound of regret or a weight limiting our patience, as with political opponents. Although still misusing appearances, when not using the symbol to judge with them, we feel good and our perception of time speeds up as time flies.
In full awareness of time, we know it as eternity in the sense of no change. As knowledge of Word puts it, Word is the same yesterday, today and forever. It is Name’s vision of agapé in Word that does not change, ever, whereas the duality name causes us to see change in it on both sides. The light of agapé in the whole picture of eternal, nonchanging life appears to be in superflux, supposedly the very nonending molecular change just below our bodily surface experience.
Operating in our highly reflective self-awareness without the protection of the principle, the infinite change of the duality name inverts agapé light in our perception into black-hole gravity. This is the spiritual death of hatred, pulling in and consuming agapé light but never letting any escape. The light nearby that survives must have conditions met, otherwise, this conditional love of changing spiritual life is pulled in and potentially never felt again.
The principle of Word alone can transcend the duality name altogether and restore our vision of Name’s nonchanging agapé. For the principle permeates through all appearances of time. Its light is stronger than all the blind tolerance and hatred on both sides of the spiritual civil war in our suneidesis.
In this changing universe, the eternal agapé is symbolically measured as the Now of Word, a 2,000-year time span of the present in our suneidesis, not our memory. This I AM timeframe of 42 generations represents the super-reality of Name’s agapé light in our singularity. Yet, collectively, the duality name divides us up in our national self-perception, just as water reflecting light seems to divide the light itself.
Under the illusory division and consumption of eternal agapé light, the Now of Word appears as jasper blind light in the duality name’s spiritual death, as the lifetime, generational and ancestral durations of appearances. This appears to reflect in the duality name’s spiritual life and only partially consume Word’s light, leaving us as conditional agapé. Blind-sided by the jasper of spiritual death, we are fearful of being pulled into it and losing the life we only think we have.
The principle, however, restores our vision in Name’s unconditional eternal agapé. Here, the Now of Word looks at itself in the singularity as us, laying both sides of the duality name bare in the supersession. Here, we all give Name all our agapé through everyone else in our singularity. But here in the physical world, we start with those of us least aware of themselves as agapé names. Loving them with Name’s vision of agapé in Word, we remind them of their responsibilities as names of light in a dark world.
Two-Way Conduits of Name’s Agapé
As agapé names of light, we make up Word’s singularity of life by conducting Name’s vision of agapé light both ways, into and out of us in the simultaneity of the Now of Word. We receive Name’s agapé for us through each other and, from our position in it, which makes it our own at the same time, we retrace the pathway and return Name’s agapé for us by giving it to Name through each other, including through our appearances.
However, as the duality name of our national suneidesis, we cannot experience Name’s agapé going both ways simultaneously in the present, as well as both ways in memory of how and where it takes place. There is no end to what we cannot experience in Word’s super-reality when the word-symbol evil governs our perception.
The absence of this wholeness of eternal perception in the present sometimes comes at the cost of no longer consciously participating in either receiving or giving Name’s agapé light. Our duality name substitutes it with addictive thinking patterns of changing time in the appearances. It ranges from addiction to praising Name (God or Life) in false gratitude, as a substitute for loving Name through the enemies of suneidesis, to addiction to outright hating them and believing that that pleases Name.
Having such patterns in our thinking works through the generalizations we form about our physical bodies. It prevents us from experiencing our bodies spiritually with the mind of the spirit, knowing that the body itself is not spirit. This includes depriving ourselves of spiritual perception of others’ bodily appearances together with vision of the conscientious beauty behind them. It is all the duality name at work on an inner layer in but not of our names of light, superseded agapé names receiving and giving Name’s agapé through each other in the Now of Word.
Now in the fulfillment of the times of nations, we are beginning to permeate all time-changing perception, the spiritual life-and-death eyes of the duality name caging our democracy.
Spiritual Fasting and Our Own Flesh
As discussed, the physical addiction of others that appeared as temptation in Paul’s flesh did not tempt him because he was free from all addiction, including addictive thinking. He did not allow the misuse of surface appearances to stop him from seeing the sublime activities of Name’s agapé light in the Now of Word through everyone as names of light.
For seeing the duality name at work in anyone moved Word in Paul to empower these activities of Name’s agapé light in them to permeate the spiritual life and death of their duality name. This reveals Name’s agapé light being received and given between the two sides of their duality name, illuminated in the linear, changing time of Word’s jasper light. At the same time, figuratively speaking, it reveals the same radiant agapé light receiving and giving simultaneously in the eternal Now of Word.
Recognizing the duality name this way in others empowered Paul to bear their temptation in his flesh, which is part of spiritual fasting according to the knowledge of Word. We do not deny our bodies food and water in this kind of fast. We instead, when free from addiction, bear the temptation of others in our flesh according to the activities of Name’s agapé light in the timeframe of the Now of Word. There is no longer any need to veil ourselves from our own flesh in ignorance of what is happening.
“Is this not the fast that I [Name] have chosen, to loosen the bonds of wickedness [the word-symbol wickedness under the processes of binding and loosing], undo the bands of the yolk, and let the oppressed go free and break every yolk…to divide your bread with the hungry, bring the homeless poor into your house, when you see the naked cover them—and not to veil yourself from your own flesh…furnish your soul to the hungry and you will satisfy the soul of the oppressed; then your light will rise in the darkness [of the duality name], and your sunset [will be] like noonday [in the principle of Word].” Isaiah 58:6-7; 10
Word expanded this to include the enemies of our suneidesis, oppressors, when explaining how the judgment of our personal and national suneidesis is based on the way we treat “the least among us”. We should treat oppressors the same way Isaiah spoke of here when spiritually fasting, for Word including “visiting prisoners”, including oppressors jailed for their crimes.
In all cases, we do this without veiling ourselves from our own flesh so that we can bear their temptation in it through Word, more so for the oppressors’ addictions. It works through the activities of Name’s agapé light in the timeframe of the Now of Word — if they are ready to accept the principle and allow Word to loosen the bonds of wickedness in them. These activities of Name’s agapé light work with sense-objects in Name’s light-senses, which, when manifest, enable us to bear the temptation of other’s misexperience of them, for this creates addictive sense-objects in their physical senses.
While bearing others’ temptation this way, we can identify the level of their belief in the word-symbol evil having substance. It is the levels on which they blindly wrestle Name individually and collectively through each other politically in our spiritual civil war.
In essence, it is Word’s jasper light in their duality name that wrestles Name on these levels, in their blindness and body. Bearing it as part of their temptation in our body, with this understanding, we are positioned for it to be removed in them. This is done by Word permeating the joints and marrow of our spiritual experience of flesh and our perception of Name’s sense-objects in theirs, and then imputing this to them, again, when they are willing.
And if we are not yet free from addiction, we should first accept the principle or learn how to use it better through The Practical Guide. In time, we will start identifying misuse of the word-symbol evil and the levels on which we ourselves blindly wrestle Name collectively with those without the principle in our national singularity.
Wait for firsthand knowledge of how we hide ourselves while wrestling in the midst of the activities of Name’s agapé light, in the timeframe of the Now of Word. Then, use the principle to manifest Word in your national singularity to usurp the duality name here. It frees us from spiritual addiction in our national suneidesis and physical addiction in our body, in order to experience both spiritually.
Consider the agapé light that others only think they have lost. There is no loss of agapé in its transfer, for it permeates itself everywhere without distance. In the present fulfillment of times, the same act of being freed or enslaved is taking place nationally in our democratic suneidesis. And as more of us are freed, the act of making our moral/ethical standard out to be superior in the duality name is being replaced with the humility expressed before the sublime activities of Name’s agapé, of which we are all a part.
Symbolizing Appearances in the Duality Name
The diamond shapes in front of the rose symbolize the three types of appearances of surface life, a life symbolized by the rose. The frame around the rose symbolizes the Now of Word as seen within the duality name, and this represents how this life is thought to be us in never-ending change.
The circles behind this frame are the political parties in the democracy of our national suneidesis. They recycle judgment, tolerance and hatred endlessly in spiritual civil war through the appearances both sides form of each other.
The rose’s shades of jasper signify how everything formed in the spiritual death of the duality name works from the word-symbol evil in our perception. The blue surrounding the rose signifies how everything formed in the limited spiritual life of the duality name works from the conditional agapé in our perception.
Both perceptions work in each of us and between our political sides, appearing to show us wrestling ourselves and each other in spiritual civil war — when we are all actually wrestling Name through each other.
The outer frame symbolizes the Now of Word as it truly exists in our national singularity. It fully transparentizes the duality name and thus clearly manifests us receiving and giving Name’s agapé light through each other in the supersession.
There is no misuse of appearances here, no false boundaries in our democracy. Here, everything in the diagram symbolizes our spiritual experience of the world and Name’s conscientious beauty behind it all—as seen through the wholeness of Word’s eternal agapé perception in the present.
This diagram is not AI generated precisely because it would have glass realism reflecting light that dazzles and overwhelms our sensitive optical system. And that would work against its intended use of having us form its images transparently and permeationally in our mind and suneidesis. Further usage is explained in “Visual Preparation for “The Spiritual Story of Democracy”.

Suneidesis, pronounced soo-NAY-day-sis, is a Greek word that joins our natural awareness with our sense of conscience. Click on the link for a detailed explanation. It is central to this teaching. Using this foreign word regularly in discussions helps us get accustomed to experiencing something new and positive working in our awareness itself. When the word conscience is used, it will refer to the aspect of suneidesis that involves right and wrong, but this aspect cannot be separated from our co-conscientious awareness of all things.
If I understand that my awareness of something as simple as a cup includes co-conscientiousness, I do not allow myself to get blinded by the cup alone but know it as part of all creation at the hands of the Creator or the universe, depending on one’s beliefs. Spiritual maturity does this naturally.
