Who Are We Really Dealing With?
First, as you know, we want to continue loving family members even when they hurt us because their image is engraved in our hearts. Even though it appears that they cannot change and may never, more importantly, it is we who cannot change if we do not learn how to see beyond any temporary image and see them in truth, as well as ourselves. We are all names of light partaking of the light of Name (God or Life depending on our beliefs, no one creates themselves). If we know that, we are ready for spiritual things.
In order to see each other as names of light and engrave that on the eyes of our heart, we need to learn how to envision the light of Word (Christ or Truth depending on our beliefs, no one is Truth themselves) in each other. When we can see Word, for example, in unkind family members, we partake of the nature of Word’s light present in them, which is unconditional love, agapé. Their blindness to it in themselves is witnessed in their harmful behavior, but that does not blind Word in them.
Once we partake of Word’s agapé light in others this way, which is loving our enemies, we can partake of it in ourselves and in the singularity between all of us, all names of light in the light of Name. The beauty of Name in each of us is indescribable, but blindness in us cannot bear the thought of such beauty in unkind people because we are still seeing them according to a temporary image.
Consider though how blindness works from seeing each other in these temporary physical forms. That image blocks our hearts from receiving Name’s agapé for all of us through Word. And this prevents us from being able to forgive them from our heart and bless them for who they really are as names of light. But by seeing beyond the physical, not ignoring it, we can love them in peace but only in our hearts if that is all they can bear. This series of articles helps us renew our minds to think in these terms and train our spiritual senses to envision the light of Word.
As for how we deal with dangerous people, this requires the power of Word’s singularity working in our democracy. Presently, the laws of our national moral/ethical standard work through a court system that is based on viewing citizens as physical beings. That means we see ourselves as part of the animal kingdom.
Albeit as humans in this kingdom, we still see ourselves as male and female physical beings with a weak conscience and fail to recognize ourselves as the strong conscientious beings we are with a physical body. The former binds us to the constraints of the biological nature, condemning our society to an unnecessary measure of violence through ignorance. The latter frees us in our spiritual nature as names of light, breaking the bonds of tolerance for agapé to take root socially, not in passive citizens unable to defend themselves, but those with the self-discipline to measure out force wisely.
Dangerous People
We are better at handling dangerous people if we have agapé for them, agapé stronger than death. The most important thing to understand is that they are wrestling Name and Word, knowingly or not (see The Practical Guide). Stay out of the way as much as possible. Be patient and kind and do not be discouraged. Resolve any unresolved stories in your life, not theirs unless called to, to understand that they are reliving unresolved dangerous stories of their past.
The enlightenment of humankind is taking place right now and cannot be stopped, even though it looks like the opposite is happening. The hour before dawn is the darkest, but the light is already being used by those who see.
Participate in Word's singularity of unconditional love with as many people as you believe are like-minded. We are never against ourselves so, only when it is wise, help according to this power, resisting the actions of blindness peacefully along the way.

Hi George =) Thank you for acknowledging my question/comments from earlier, with this post. I was ruminating this afternoon about common perceptions of beauty as good, and ugly as evil. Prejudgment and judgment are so easily dealt. It occurred to me that if we were to see people as flowers, that judging them would seem silly. Sometimes flowers are in their prime, and are beautiful, because they have the soil nutrients, sunshine and water that they need. And then of course, there are the flowers we called weeds, who are perhaps just as cool in their own ways; but perhaps they are miracles in themselves; growing as 'weeds' through concrete, and absorbing sunshine and nutrients however they can. And perhaps the well-groomed flowers live longer, and stay beautiful to the eye, and do not harm other flowering plants. And by comparison, the 'weeds' are seen as invasive, and they do not get what's needed to live a long life. But really, both the groomed flower, and the weed, ages and dies. My 'eyes' are realizing more and more how judgmental we are as people, when as souls, we are all flowers. And how, if we can rise above the 'moral and correct stance' of pre-judgment and judgment, that it is possible to see an 'ugly flower' as one who just needs a better environment and care.
