Spirituality and Democracy 3
The interaction of light forms in democracy
The practical value of this teaching is obvious when we experience everyday events in the now of Word, the now of our world conscience (suneidesis).1 Time does not fly; it does not exist in it, while simultaneously we are also moving in a physical reality centered on time. Politics is part of the now of Word when our conscientious reality oversees our physical reality. When it does not, a money-time reality oversees our conscience, veiling us from the timeless interaction between Name and Word in the exquisite light of our world conscience. See Capitalism in the Democracy of our Conscience.
Politics in the now of Word is about spiritual justice, which encompasses racial justice, gender justice and so on, without forcing us to know each other according to physical attributes. We are quite capable of knowing each other in our symbolic form in the light of Name while working with issues created by our physical differences. For the singularity of our light in democracy is a position of strength in Word. With it, we can examine the political crisis today and respond wisely.
Review
Spirituality and Democracy 2 Revisited introduced the all-important knowledge of seeing the form of Name’s light symbolically. It is the basis for getting to know each other according to our symbolic form in Name’s light. Without it, The Practical Guide makes no sense and our collective vision of democracy cannot develop beyond its partial misuse of capitalism.
Understanding our symbolic form in the light of Name, we see the value in blessing those of us using illusory boundaries in limited agapé (love). If we cannot see this value, we do not grasp our singularity and remain in our own illusory boundaries, passed down to us generationally. We do not have to be blind to the singularity of our democracy in the world conscience, or its position in the interaction between Name and Word’s exquisite light, or to others’ blindness to it in the current political crisis.
Envisioning
To see physically, we simply open our eyes. To see spiritually, we need to envision what is already manifest in our world conscience but not visible to us. Knowledge of Word provides us with the testimony of two individuals who fully understood this. Translated literally,
“I envisioned You (Name) in the sanctuary to see Your power and Your glory.” (Psalm 63:2) If we envision Name incorrectly, we are only imagining.
Translated literally,
“We know that when he (Word) manifests, we will be like him because we will envision him just as he is.” (1 John 3:2) If we envision Word incorrectly, we are only imagining and will not be like Word through the nature of our conscience.
This is the nature of spiritual light in our conscience, transforming us into it when we understand it and can use it to see it—seeing Name’s agapé in the now of Word by seeing with it transforms us into it. This is key: not seeing alone, but envisioning then seeing each other in our symbolic form in the light of Name.
Seeing ourselves according to physical attributes carries over into how we incorrectly envision Name and Word. And this leads to the main error of thinking that agapé can be directly experienced in our human forms, even directly expressed in our human faces. But the nature of our experience as spiritual light works in a singularity in the agapé light of Word, beyond our individual physical experience. Unless we envision and see Name and Word with this singularity of their agapé light, we are envisioning them and each other incorrectly.
Symbolic Forms of Agapé
Words, of course, cannot describe the actual form of Name’s agapé light, so to help us envision the visual pattern of agapé, knowledge of Word provides us with the powerful symbolic forms of double light-folds and a glass cube. By envisioning our singularity in these forms of Word’s agapé light, we can symbolically see each other and trigger vision of Word’s manifestation in the light of our world conscience. It is beyond all description by our languages. If it is correct up to this point, we can use it to see with and are just one step away from envisioning Word interacting with Name in their timeless exquisite light, and those of us participating blindly.
Preparing to envision the Exquisite Light
First, the phrase double light-folds indicates that our unfolded light permeates each other and forms light-folds that permeate each other in double light-folds. They coalesce into single formations in the form of the symbolic cube, the form of our singularity in the agapé light of Word. It is organized between us as names of light, with our personal names coalescing in our political, national and world-names of light.
Each level of the collective part of our personal names consists of massive numbers of double light-folds, but they appear as only one since they all permeate each other in the same position. All four levels coalesce into our singularity, our agapé light in Name working in the now of Word. We harm ourselves as members of it—only when misusing it to make ourselves more important.
Second, as the light of Word, our singularity also exists in each of us since Word exists as the life of each of us. This lays the visual groundwork for our names of light to be manifested in multiple positions simultaneously. Knowledge of Word states that Name made it rain fire and brimstone from Name in heaven. Name is omnipresent and, in this reality, without form, for form cannot be omnipresent. And yet, Name takes countless forms within its omnipresence, each being Name in full.
Being in the image of Name through Word, according to knowledge of Word, we each occupy an omnipresent permeation in them, with countless forms of our name manifest in our omnipresent permeation through Word’s singularity in each of us. This is what makes seeing with Word’s forms possible, for we permeate them already since they are manifest in our omnipresent permeation. Word said, Wherever I am, you will be there too.
The Greek word for brimstone is a variation of the Greek word for God, revealing that Name’s presence in our blindness has the effect of brimstone, the burning effect of agapé light in our conscience when we make ourselves more important. Thus, with our names of agapé light manifesting multiple times—it either multiplies the burning in our world conscience or the beauty of Name’s multiple presences in Word in us.
Now we are ready to envision and see Word and Name interacting in their timeless exquisite light, which also takes place in the democracy light of our world conscience, and those of us participating blindly.
Participating with Vision in Pairs
As explained in the guide, we bless those of us who are blind for who they are when we can see their illusion of being the source of their own light. In such illusion, they imagine they are able to use time to wrestle with Name’s light. Now we will envision them blindly wrestling Name in its exquisite interaction with Word and also envision them again in the piety light of Word. Piety light is another form of Name’s agapé light—but it shows Word appearing as though it were their illusion of blind piety-light.
When seeing through the illusion, we see Word’s piety light as agapé light in the exquisite interaction. When we do not, we partake of the illusion also and participate in the exquisite interaction blindly, unable to give Name all our agapé through each other.
To start, we need to envision another name of light through our name of light in a double light-fold. Making theirs more important without being against ourselves, we do not allow either light to block out the other—so that we can give Name all our agapé light through the other as they do the same through us, even when they do so blindly through Word’s piety light. It is already manifest in our world conscience, waiting for us to envision. In fact, it is manifest in Name and Word loving each other this way, for their exquisite interaction is our world conscience and Word’s piety light is part of it.
We need two more names of light to get a better idea of the visual pattern of agapé in double light-folds. With four names of light, each of our names is manifest three times simultaneously in our own omnipresent permeation—permeating each other’s. Together, we form three sets, with all four of our names in each set but in different arrangements, making each other more important individually and collectively. Each set forms a symbolic cube of light, with all three permeating each other as one cubic form of Word’s agapé light.
Each manifestation of our personal name also has three additional double light-folds for our political, national and world-names. With them, we collectively make each other more important on a massive scale within and between them. But when using limited agapé, we have illusory boundaries and experience most of it through Word’s piety light.
A Detailed Example
Let’s take the personal name of light Hannah, with the political, national and world-name Likud Israeli Jew. In one set, let’s say Hannah pairs up with the personal name of light Aaliyah, expanded to Hamas Palestinian Muslim. Let’s say the second pair of this set is between the personal names of light Emma and Anahita, expanded to Republican American Christian and National-Front Iranian Muslim, respectively. Hannah and Emma are likely to have similar illusory boundaries, as are Aaliyah and Anahita, neither pairs making the other more important.
The two other sets show Emma and Anahita each in pairs with Hannah, and the remaining two names of light in each set in their own pairs. Through the two double light-folds in each set, Hannah sees Emma, Anahita and Aaliyah in a triple light-fold, as each of them sees the other three in triple light-folds. Illusory boundaries are multilayered here, but the single cubic form of agapé light between these names never loses its good boundaries in Name’s light.
The pattern continues with each additional name of light, revealing the permeational depth of their positions, already manifest in the exquisite light pattern. Once envisioned, it is triggered for us to see and see with as an immeasurable part of Name and Word’s beautiful agapé light. Like infinitely-deep facets of a perfect diamond, everyone reflects everyone else’s crystalline faces of agapé light in and between each other.
Participating Blindly in Pairs
Focusing on the blindness in Hannah, we can follow the guide and cleanse the eyes of our heart to see and bless her for who she really is. This makes it possible to recognize that when she expresses hateful anger against anyone who harms her loved ones, it is Name’s healthy anger toward her being misused by her. For she refuses to make all others more important and use agapé-anger stronger than death, causing her to struggle with brimstone, which she blames on Aaliyah in their double light-folds. Aaliyah does and experiences the very same.
When we make Hannah and Aaliyah more important in our double light-folds with them, Name’s healthy anger for them works through us—in our desire to see Name and its memory in them in the now of Word. It empowers us to give Name all our agapé through them as well as Emma and Anahita in our cubic position. All of our agapé light manifests in the exquisite light between Name and Word and again, to different degrees, in Word’s piety light. However, using the principle to govern our world conscience like this, we do not allow our moral standards to form political illusions in Word’s piety light.
There is not any real political opposition between parties in Iran or Palestine, so having the political names National Front and Hamas, Anahita and Aaliyah, respectively, are not necessarily under political illusion in Word’s piety light. That is, they might just be using these names as a means of survival. With political opposition in Israel and the United States though, Hannah and Emma are most likely in truth a Likud party member and Republican, respectively.
However, there are autocratic leanings in both of these parties due to religious beliefs favoring kings over democracies. Hannah and Emma may be blind to this or openly for or against it. The question is whether they use the principle first and not moral standards in their world conscience and are, thus, not blinded by political moral standards that are used first. King David loved his enemies, but none of the other Israeli kings in history did.
A Vision of Two Cities
In the fulfillment of the times of the nations, we are witnessing the historic completion of nation-names appearing in the timeless now of Word. Their hyper-brilliant cubic forms of agapé light are already manifest together in the singularity of our world conscience, ready for us to envision in Name and Word’s infinite exquisite-light. Revealing the beauty of all nation-names as one in it, the world conscience is called the Heavenly City. It displays the full singularity of Name’s unfolded efflorescence forming an exquisite light-fold with Word’s in their exquisite double light-folds with us.
Superseded
By partaking of this exchange between Name and Word, making each other more important in their light-fold permeating ours, our desire is fulfilled and we are completely pleased with one another. When blind to this though in Word’s piety light, by being confined to illusory boundaries, our mind and conscience are superseded here by Word being our life, showing us consciously partaking.
To envision it and see it as part of their own double light-folds, it does not matter whether Hannah, Aaliyah, Emma and Anahita are physically in the same room, for the very thought of each other either empowers them to practice the principle and see it or blinds them to their participation in it through the illusory city of chaos. The symbolic City of Babylon makes chaos seem real in Word’s piety light, while creating actual chaos on earth. Rather than wrestling with Name blindly in this city, they have another choice. They can choose to use their folded permeations of light to see through the illusion and recognize it as their own agapé light in the world conscience, creating peace on earth despite their different moral standards.
The Silent Factor
In our example, using male names in another group of double light-folds would reveal the blind interaction between those who use gender reality instead of conscientious reality to govern their world conscience. With knowledge of their different roles in political, national and world-names, we would bless both groups of names like all others for who they really are—to envision and see their exquisite faces in the spiritual city.
This additional reality, often silent, also points to the depths of what it means to give Name all of our agapé through each other. As names of light with omnipresent permeations and countless forms in it through Word’s singularity, we all work in part through a single gender form. Due to the nature of our world conscience, the more we envision Name and Word in each other, by blessing each other for who we are as personal, political, national and world-names and not our physical attributes, the more we partake of Name and Word through each other.
David was after the heart of Name
This not only includes doing so through Word’s piety light wherever blindness exists, it is centered on it, for that is how we show how much we love Name. No other name fulfills us, and yet we cannot be fulfilled by Name without giving it all our agapé through others in Word’s singularity. This shows us how much Name loves all of us, so loving Name through the least of us shows how much we love Name. As Name put it concerning David—who is the first of two quoted above who understood how to envision Name, and the only Israeli king who loved his enemies, giving Name all his agapé through them with his personal, political, national and world-names—I have found someone after My own heart.
This is the breath-taking truth of who we all are in Name’s spiritual city and what we do here: each omni-permeating city-name of light makes the others permeating it more important, so as to give Name all its agapé through them in Word. This is possible because all city-names have envisioned Word correctly in all city-names and, therefore, never stop looking at Name with the eyes of Word. The unresolved problem though, reflected in our political crisis, is getting those of us who choose light to learn how to envision it.
The key to enduring the crisis, with the hope that the problem will be resolved soon, is knowing how to see everyday events in the now of Word. The timelessness of our world conscience exposes the misuse of personal, political, national and world memories. See them as ships arriving at the fulfillment from the past, their ancient hulls presently filled with the now of Word, no longer able to stop and start time. Everyday events disembark from these ships and step into the now of Word, full of names after the heart of Name.
What is your el-elohe-name?
Suneidesis is pronounced soon-eye-day-sis. After reading the link explaining it, you will see how central it is to this teaching. Using this foreign word regularly in discussions helps us get accustomed to experiencing something new and positive in our awareness. When the word conscience is used, it will refer to the aspect of suneidesis that involves right and wrong, but this aspect cannot be separated from our co-conscientious awareness.
Thank you for such contemplated thoughts and readings and feelings and beliefs.
This is good! It reminds me of deep Jewish teaching💙
