We may reshape our democracy. We have been having some troubling moments in the last - maybe 40 years. The gap grew rapidly after the Second World War. And people had to pay the price. And many people revolted in unrecognized terms, unaccepted terms. These are things every single one of us must contemplate. And find ways to bring the outcast, the marginalized of any type. Every single solitary soul on the face of this earth is equally susceptible to pain, death, health, hunger. Fear has driven people to hurt the “other guys” who actually don’t want anything but to go home, eat dinner with their loved ones. Go to bed feeling safe. And do it again tomorrow!
Treat each other as equal human beings. The animals can. So can we!!!
By the end of the Second World War, world blindness had consumed all nations. We started living under the illusion that things could get back to normal after the Holocaust, and we are still deceived. It tipped our humanity over the edge, so we either cannot think about it too long or deny it ever happened for various reasons. There is no going back, for it took thousands of years for this epitome of evil to come about.
The step forward is what humankind has been preparing for alongside it. We who are awakening first are called to flame it for the next to see. Loving the enemies of conscience is the height of human conscientious development. It supersedes the conscience governed by moral standards, which has made us judge and kill each other as animals with human-size brains. Moral standards are seen through the higher conscience, as opposed to a lower conscience seen through moral standards.
Loving the enemies of conscience is loving those whose conscience is blinded by moral standards and thus a threat to good conscience. Instead of having to confront them with our own moral standards, we can find ways to reach through their blindness while uniting across all previous boundaries. We will remove the world blindness hanging over all nations.
Hope is for things not seen. The light of our world conscience can be seen with the eyes of our heart when we love the enemies of conscience. Those who cling onto their moral standards above love have no hope of seeing.
Yes, we can only hope they will change their minds, but if they don’t, we can still see and don’t have to live in blind hope any longer. Sooner or later, light overtakes darkness.
Confessing that one is an alcoholic does not cure them. But it is the first step. The next is learning how not to get spiritually drunk in our hearts and—losing all rational thought—murder others in our thoughts with hatred and, when possible, in physical actions.
The only cure for drunkenness in our hearts is to love the enemies of our heart’s conscience. The spiritual poison, or alcohol, is using moral standards above the higher conscience. The first sip of the poison is making ourselves more important than the least person in the world. For we eclipse their light in our heart with our own, blinding ourselves to their light and ultimately our own.
The higher conscience is not ignorant of the blind hatred in the least, but does not blind itself to seek revenge. It unites with the higher conscience in others to resist the efforts of those pushing for a world holocaust.
Blindness cannot stop itself, only love taking the risk of bringing its illumination into it can stop it.

In Hope

Would you say that humanity needs to confess the sin of the Holocaust and therefore learn not to torture a people for any reason?
